Why This Platform Exists
Rocky View County surrounds Calgary on three sides and is home to over 40,000 residents spread across rural acreages, hamlets, and communities like Airdrie, Cochrane, and Chestermere. Despite its size and growing business community, the County has never operated a business licensing program, which means there's no official registry of local businesses.
Residents looking for a local plumber, farm supply store, or restaurant had to rely on Google Maps (which mixes in Calgary businesses) or generic directories like Yellow Pages (which are often outdated). This local business directory solves that problem by focusing exclusively on businesses located within Rocky View County, Alberta, and it goes beyond a simple listing service to connect the entire local economy.
Whether you're a resident searching for a nearby service, a job seeker looking for local work, or a business owner wanting to reach customers and post opportunities, this platform is here to make those connections easier.
